Success Stories

The first PluggedInVA pilot ran in 2009 in Southwest Virginia in response to a local need for qualified candidates for job openings in two information technology companies that moved into the area. Since that first successful cohort, PluggedInVA has continued to run in southwest Virginia and has expanded to other regions throughout the state in a wide range of targeted industries, including construction and weatherization, health care, electronic medical records, entrepreneurship, and advanced manufacturing.
